Manan Patel grew up in India where he initially studied Pharmacy at Saurashtra University, Gujarat. A graduate school opportunity presented itself in Toronto, Ontario in 2009 prompting Manan’s relocation to Canada. Throughout his academic career in Canada, Manan volunteered in the pharmacy at the Toronto Rehab Hospital providing him with hands on experience in a Canadian pharmacy. Manan achieved his Canadian Pharmaceutical Practicing License in 2014 through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada. 

Manan began his career in Pharmacy in Canada as the Pharmacy Manager for a Rexall pharmacy in Shaunavon, SK. Following this experience, Manan relocated to Estevan, SK where he worked as the Pharmacy Manager in a Loblaws pharmacy. Manan was offered a position in Moose Jaw, SK as the Pharmacy manager in another Loblaws thereby prompting his relocation to Moose Jaw. Manan’s managerial experience in three separate pharmacies provided Manan with the confidence and experience necessary to consider pharmacy ownership in Canada.   

An opportunity to purchase the Redberry Pharmacies in Hafford and Blaine Lake, SK arose in 2016. Manan eagerly jumped at the opportunity and began running the pharmacies as owner and operator. In 2020 there was an opportunity presented to purchase a pharmacy in Saskatoon. Manan purchased Cheetham’s pharmacy and took over as owner and operator. In 2021, Manan purchased another pharmacy in rural Saskatchewan, Yuzdepski’s Pharmacy in Cudworth. Manan and his wife currently own and operate four Saskatchewan pharmacies. 

Manan’s lifelong friend, Janaki, moved to Canada where they were married in 2012. They welcomed their first son in 2020. Following their son’s birth, they began operating the family businesses together as a team. The Patel’s look forward to growing their family and continuing to extend their roots further into the Saskatoon community. 

Tammi is a farm girl who grew up in the small community of Shaunavon, Sask.  From a young age she knew that she wanted to help people and was always drawn to the medical field.  Pharmacy was a natural choice for her.  After spending a year abroad in France, she pursued her pharmacy studies at the University of Sask in Saskatoon graduating in 1999 with great distinction.  She is a wife and mother of 2 children and has worked in community pharmacy for 15 years.   She has a passion for her profession and loves working with seniors.

Kayla Peters was born and raised in Saskatoon, Sask. Kayla started working in retail pharmacy in 2005. She’s always striving to give excellent customer service and will be a Sigvaris trained employee at Cheetham‘s. Kayla enjoys the outdoors and has two for babies. She is very excited to join the Cheetham‘s team because of their values and relationships with the community and customers.
